    Please read through the following before downloading anything from this board:
  • Boardsmith scripts come with no guarantees whatsoever. Since we cannot know what you are doing with them, we cannot take responsibility for them! But...
  • ...we will still help where we can! Use our message forum if you are having problems. Try to provide precise details of the fault including any error codes or messages generated by the server. (By the way, if we find the error has been caused by a) not uploading the scripts as ASCII files, or b) not changing their attributes to 755 - expect a virtual kick up the arse.)
  • If our scripts are not quite to your liking, leave a message on the forum telling us what changes you would like made, and we will see what we can do. No promises! But we're basically nice people. (Note: we're not likely to rewrite a script for one customer, but cosmetic or interface changes are usually no problem at all.)
  • As far as license is concerned, all our scripts are offered free of any conditions. You can do whatever you like to them. It would be nice if you left the Powered by Boardsmith Scripts tag on the bottom, but even that is up to you. One warning though - mess it up and we're not going to be able to help, so always keep an unmodified back-up somewhere.)
  • If you are happy with a script, it would be much appreciated if you would leave a message on the forum saying so. It would give us a bit of a boost and encourage us to come up with even better products. Better still, if the scripts are being used on a public board, would you leave its URL so we can see what you have done.
